RRB Notification 2012 – 6,829 Various Vacancies: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued notification against recruitment of 6,829 various vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 11-06-2012. 1. Commercial Apprentice – 317 vacancies
2. Traffic Apprentice – 740 vacancies
3. ECRC – 114 vacancies
4. Goods Guard – 1,768 vacancies
5. Jr Accounts Assistant cum Typist – 791 vacancies
6. Sr. Clerk cum Typist – 441 vacancies
7. Assistant Station Master – 2,646 vacancies
8. Traffic Assistant – 12 vacancies
Age Limit: Age should be in between 18-33 years and Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 01-07-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per rules).
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Application Fee Details: Unreserved and Male/OBC Male candidates need to pay Rs. 60/- in the form of Indian Postal Order or Demand Draft in favor of "Assistant Secretary or Secretary or Member Secretary or Chairman of Railway Recruitment Board payable at the place where the Railway Recruitment Board concerned is situated. SC/ST/PWD/EXSM/Women/Minorities/ Economically Backward Classes candidates are exempted from fee payment.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Written Test followed by certificate verification.
How to Apply: Candidates apply through prescribed application format available in the notification, the application form should be filled up by the candidate in his/her own handwriting, with blue or black ball point pen only and send it along with copies of all required certificates and documents, by attaching a passport size photograph and attesting signature in an closed envelop super scribing as 'Application for the Post/s of ,Category No./,Centralized Employment Notice No. 03/2012 of RRB/—, Community (SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-SM)' to the address of concerned RRB, available in the notification on or before 11-06-2012.

RRB – CEN.No. 03/2012 CA, TA, ASM, Goods Guard, ECRC, Jr Asst & Sr Clerk Eligibility: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) recruits personnel for the posts of Commercial Apprentice (CA), Traffic Apprentice (TA), Enquiry cum Reservation Clerk (ECRC), Goods Guard, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Assistant Station Master and Traffic Assistant at RRBs at different places under certain criteria. The Eligibility Criteria Details are mentioned below…
Eligibility Details:
1. Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
2. Age Limit: Minimum age limit would be 18 years and maximum age limit would be 33 years.
Relaxation of Upper Age Limit:
1. By 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
2. By 3 years for OBC candidates
3. For Ex-Servicemen, up to the extent of service rendered in Defence plus 3 years provided they have put in more than 6 months service after attestation.
4. By 5 years to candidates who have ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.
5. By 10 years for Physically Handicapped candidates (15 years for Physically Handicapped SCs/STs and 13 years for Physically Handicapped OBCs).
6. Upper age limit in case of widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from the husband but not remarried shall be relaxed up to 35 years for Unreserved, 38 for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST candidates.
7. No age relaxation is allowed to SC/ST/OBC candidates applying against unreserved vacancies.
8. The date of birth for the candidates for the different age group should be between the dates given below: (Both dates inclusive):

3. Educational Qualification: Degree from recognized University or its equivalent. For the posts of Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist and Senior Clerk cum Typist, candidates must have typing proficiency in English/Hindi on Computer/Typewriter.

Post wise Selection Procedure:
1. Preliminary Examination is common for all the posts.
2. Main (Second Stage) Exam and Document Verification are conducted for the posts of Commercial Apprentice, Traffic Apprentice, ECRC and Goods Guard.
3. Main (Second Stage) Exam, Typing Test / Skill Test and followed by Verification Of Documents are conducted for the posts of Jr Accounts Assistant Cum Typist and Sr Clerk Cum Typist.
4. Main (Second Stage) Exam, Aptitude Test and followed by Verification of Documents are conducted for the posts of Assistant Station Master and Traffic Assistant.
5. At the time of Appointment a Medical Fitness Test is conducted for all posts.
